It’s no secret that parents and key adults play a crucial role in the faith lives of children and teens. The most important factor in determining a child’s faith future is the family’s own intentional way of going about it. When parents and families deliberately discuss issues of faith, belief, spirituality, and worship, it shows their children and teens that faith is a priority, and it makes a real difference in the ways they live their lives.
Family Faith Formation for grades Kindergarten to six, will gather once a month in the school building gym. We will continue with our format of coming together as families in prayer and in the introduction of our theme of the month and then the children will break out into classrooms while the parents stay in the gym to break open the topic of the month on an adult level. We continue to have periodic speakers during some of our sessions. In addition, we plan to keep Google Classroom for the monthly at home assignments for the books and additional resources.
We continue to offer the monthly Family Faith Gatherings monthly on Sunday from 9:00am – 10:45 AM followed by Mass at 11:00am and on Monday from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM.
If a family misses a session they will need to call the Faith Formation Office to receive the information from the missed session.
